Benilde-St. Margaret’s is a premier Catholic, college-preparatory school in the Twin Cities metro area. Founded in 1974, BSM now has almost 1200 students in grades 7 through 12 and continues to maintain a strong and long-standing tradition of excellence. BSM is fortunate to have a vibrant alumni organization with many activities sponsored throughout the year.
Due to many transitions in BSM’s marketing department, the website was not being regularly updated and was 5-6 years old. BSM’s key wants in their new website were to make it responsive across all browsers and devices and set it up for continued and best SEO practices.
BSM’s new Drupal website successfully meets the school’s needs of responsiveness across all platforms, and aligns well with their brand. Drupal is a great platform for BSM to continue to build their site on because of the many add ons they have planned for the future, like an ecommerce store. The improved user experience on the website appeases all parties and stakeholders at BSM and creates huge efficiencies while minimizing redundancies. An example is the reduction of thousands of unpublished pages throughout the website database to a more organized structure.
