Providing innovative solutions to the world’s most challenging waterjet applications, Chukar Waterjet is an industry leader in waterjet applications consulting and services. Offering underwater waterjet cutting and blasting equipment capable of operating at depths in excess of 3000 meters, Chukar Waterjet pioneered the response to the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill disaster. Beyond their subsea systems, Chukar also supplies high quality parts for a variety of waterjet equipment.
Chukar was introduced to us through their parent company, Jet Edge, for whom we had also built a new site, allowing us to continue to put our "Partnerships, Not Transactions" philosophy into action. Their site, which was dated and did not reflect the elegance, not the sophistication of the Chukar brand, was in need of a refresh. Utilizing a phased approach, the first phase of the project involved moving the site to a more user-friendly Drupal platform and implementing a new design, which better represented their brand and spoke to their desired target audience.
Goals for the new site included better conveying Chukar's unique capabilities, encouraging lead generation, and providing the ability to present and manage more content (events, white papers, updates, etc.). The new site effectively achieved all of these goals, while introducing new functionality, such as the ability to view the site in 90 different languages, a feature that we implemented by leveraging Google translate.
