Brief

OneMalt needed a better way to sell a highly controlled, bulk-only product to approved businesses without adding operational complexity. Their existing process was manual, hard to scale, and lacked clear guardrails around who could buy. Irish Titan stepped in to build a streamlined Shopify Plus B2B experience that enforces access, simplifies ordering, and creates a scalable foundation for growth.

WHY:

This wasn’t traditional ecommerce. OneMalt’s model depends on control, who can buy, where they’re located, and how much they can order. Their manual process made it difficult to scale, slowed down approvals, and left too much room for inconsistency.

They needed a system that could enforce those rules automatically while still being simple enough to operate day-to-day, and appear seamlessly for their customers.

HOW:

Irish Titan built a custom Shopify Plus B2B experience designed around control and simplicity.

We implemented a gated customer journey, from registration to approval, ensuring only qualified businesses could access purchasing. Geographic restrictions were enforced at the form level, while quantity rules (full pallets, order limits) were built directly into the experience.

On the backend, we configured Shopify’s B2B tools to manage companies, permissions, and pricing, while keeping operations lean with manual approvals and a simplified fulfillment flow through the 3PL.

WHAT:

Irish Titan delivered a purpose-built Shopify Plus B2B storefront tailored to OneMalt’s operations.

The solution includes:

  • A custom registration and approval workflow with document upload

  • Zip code validation to enforce a defined service area

  • Company-based permissions control access to pricing and checkout

  • A single-SKU product model with enforced pallet and quantity rules

  • A streamlined order flow connected to a 3PL for fulfillment

  • Shopify acts as the system of record, while operations remain intentionally lean.

RESULTS:

OneMalt now has a scalable B2B ecommerce foundation that replaces manual processes with structured, repeatable workflows.

Approved customers can move seamlessly from registration to order placement, while internal teams maintain control over approvals, eligibility, and operations.

The business is now positioned to expand into new regions, new products, and deeper operational integrations, without needing to rebuild the system.
